Sweden To: Wayne Hale, flight director for the ascent team Question: I have a question regarding the shuttle's payload bay radiators. What color do they have? In some pictures they are blue, but in others they are gray! Answer: The radiators are a very shiny silver metallic finish and reflect colors very well. The colors you are seeing probably are reflections from the earth, water or clouds. |
