Flight Day 4 Transcript

CAPCOM Shannon Lucid: Good morning, Discovery! And especially good morning to you, Vegas. The wakeup music was just for you.

Pilot Jim Kelly: Morning, Shannon. Thanks for that wakeup call, and I suspected that might be mine as it's one of the favorites of my son, Connor. I'd also like to say hi to my wife and Ryan, Caitlin and Anna, and I hope everything's going well for them and the rest of the families down there on Earth. We're thinking about them and the Columbia families and we're ready to start another day.

Lucid: And Vegas, we're ready to support you for another day, and while we have you online, we -- that is, the planning shift down here -- we would like to congratulate you on your recent promotion to colonel. That is absolutely super, and it could not have happened to a nicer guy.

Kelly: Thanks, Shannon, and I guess that allows me to say happy 16th birthday just a couple of days late to my son as well. Thanks.

Lucid: I think that does.
