JSC2004-E-45216 (October 2004) --- Equipped with SCUBA gear, astronaut/aquanaut Michael R. Barratt, NEEMO-7 mission specialist, prepares for an extravehicular activities (EVA) training session for the NASA Extreme Environment Mission Operations (NEEMO) project. Barratt and his crewmates are spending 10 days, October 11-20, on an undersea mission aboard the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) Aquarius Underwater Laboratory, located off the coast of Key Largo, Florida.
