STS103-701-076 (24 Dec. 1999) --- Astronaut Steven L. Smith, payload commander for Discovery's STS-103 mission, prepares to take a photo with an electronic still camera during the flight's final session of extravehicular activity (EVA) to perform work on the Hubble Space Telescope, temporarily fastened in Discovery's cargo bay. Smith was joined by astronaut John Grunsfeld (out of frame), mission specialist, for the EVA.
