JSC2001-01936 (12 July 2001) --- Astronaut Duane G. Carey, STS-109 pilot, attired in a training version of the shuttle launch and entry garment, awaits the start of a training session at the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) near the Johnson Space Center (JSC). Carey is assisted by United Space Alliance (USA) crew trainer David Pogue. STS-109 will be the 108th shuttle flight and the fourth Hubble Space Telescope (HST) servicing mission. |
