STS-109 Shuttle Mission Imagery

JSC2001-01937 (12 July 2001) --- Astronaut Duane G. Carey, STS-109 pilot, simulates a parachute drop into water during an emergency bailout training session at the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) near the Johnson Space Center (JSC). Altman is attired in a training version of the shuttle launch and entry garment. STS-109 will be the 108th shuttle flight and the fourth Hubble Space Telescope (HST) servicing mission.
