Carey, STS-109 pilot, occupies the pilot’s station during a mission training session in the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility at the Johnson Space Center (JSC). Carey is attired in a training version of the shuttle launch and entry garment. STS-109 will be the 108th shuttle flight and the fourth Hubble Space Telescope (HST) servicing mission. |
