STS-111 Shuttle Mission Imagery

JSC2002-00411 (4 February 2002) --- Astronaut Paul S. Lockhart, STS-111 pilot, gives a thumb-up as he is about to simulate a parachute drop into water during an emergency bailout training session at the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) near the Johnson Space Center (JSC). Lockhart is attired in a training version of the shuttle launch and entry garment. STS-111 will be the 14th shuttle mission to visit the International Space Station (ISS).
