JSC2002-E-27153 (25 June 2002) --- Astronaut John B. Herrington, STS-113 mission specialist, is photographed as Patrick Santana applies the final touches on the training version of the Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) space suit prior to Herrington’s being submerged in the waters of the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) near the Johnson Space Center (JSC). Santana attaches the tools that Herrington will need for his underwater training.
