STS-114 Shuttle Mission Imagery

ISS011-E-11247 (28 July 2005) --- Backdropped by the blackness of space, the Space Shuttle Discovery was photographed by an Expedition 11 crewmember aboard the International Space Station during rendezvous and docking operations. The Italian-built Raffaello Multi-Purpose Logistics Module (MPLM) is visible in the Shuttle’s cargo bay. Discovery docked with the Station at 6:18 a.m. (CDT) on Thursday July 28, 2005.
