JSC2002-02161 (16 December 2002) --- Astronauts Soichi Noguchi (left) and Stephen K. Robinson, STS-114 mission specialists, are about to be submerged in the waters of the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) near the Johnson Space Center (JSC). Noguchi and Robinson are wearing the training version of the Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) spacesuit. SCUBA-equipped divers are in the water to assist the astronauts in their rehearsal, intended to help prepare them for work on the exterior of the International Space Station (ISS). Noguchi represents the Japanese Space Agency.
