JSC2002-E-25889 (18 June 2002) --- Astronaut Stephen K. Robinson, STS-114 mission specialist, prepares to use specialized gear in the virtual reality lab at the Johnson Space Center (JSC) to train for his duties aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis. This type of virtual reality training allows the astronauts to wear a helmet and special gloves while looking at computer displays simulating actual movements around the various locations on the International Space Station (ISS) hardware with which they will be working.
