Robinson (seated) and Soichi Noguchi, both STS-114 mission specialists, use the virtual reality lab at the Johnson Space Center (JSC) to train for their duties aboard the Space Shuttle Atlantis. This type of computer interface paired with virtual reality training hardware and software helps the entire team for dealing with ISS elements. Noguchi represents Japan’s National Space Development Agency (NASDA). |
