STS-114 Shuttle Mission Imagery

JSC2003-E-61582 (30 October 2003) --- In the Tile Protection System Facility (TPSF) at Kennedy Space Center (KSC), the STS-114 crewmembers gather to hear Jeff Andress (right), TPSF first line manager, explain aspects of the tile system. From the left are astronauts Charles J. Camarda, mission specialist; Stephen N. Frick; Wendy B. Lawrence, mission specialist; Eileen M. Collins, mission commander; and Soichi Noguchi, Stephen K. Robinson and Andrew S. W. Thomas, all mission specialists. Camarda, Lawrence and Thomas are new additions to the mission crew. Noguchi represents Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). The crew is at KSC to take part in hands-on equipment and orbiter familiarization.
