STS-114 Shuttle Mission Imagery

JSC2004-E-42316 (24 September 2004) --- Astronaut Soichi Noguchi, STS-114 mission specialist representing the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), uses a climbing apparatus to lower himself from a simulated trouble-plagued shuttle in an emergency egress training session in the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility at Johnson Space Center (JSC). Noguchi is wearing a training version of the shuttle launch and entry suit.
