JSC2006-E-53261 (7 Dec. 2006) --- Karl A. Silverman with the Space Flight Meteorology Group pores through a myriad of data as flight controllers in Houston's Mission Control Center await the scheduled Dec. 7 launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery several hundred miles away in Florida. The launch attempt was later postponed until Dec. 9, due to weather conditions.
