JSC2006-E-53264 (7 Dec. 2006) --- In this scene inside the space shuttle flight control room in the Johnson Space Center's Mission Control Center, flight controllers anticipate the launch of STS-116 several hundred miles away in Florida. Astronauts Shannon W. Lucid and Kenneth T. Ham are seated at the spacecraft communicator (CAPCOM) console in the foreground. The launch attempt was later postponed until Dec. 9, due to weather conditions.
