JSC2006-E-54962 (22 Dec. 2006) --- Astronaut Kenneth T. Ham talks to the astronauts aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery as nearly all focus is on determining the correct and safest one of three potential landing sites for the STS-116 mission. Astronauts Stephen N. Frick (far left, background) and Christopher J. Ferguson (partially obscured behind Ham) either assisted or acted as spacecraft communicators at the CAPCOM Console in the Space Shuttle Flight Control Room. Weather had earlier led to waving off the landing at the ultimately-targeted, most frequently-used Florida site and another in California.
