JSC2006-E-54970 (22 Dec. 2006) --- Astronaut Christopher J. Ferguson (right), monitors weather at one of the potential landing sites for the Space Shuttle Discovery as STS-116 flight controllers in Houston's Mission Control Center await the Dec. 22 landing of the spacecraft. Astronaut Stephen N. Frick assisted Ferguson and other spacecraft communicators at the CAPCOM console in the Space Shuttle Flight Control Room. Weather had earlier caused waving off the landing at the ultimately-targeted, most frequently-used Florida site and another in California.
