JSC2004-E-37673 (18 August 2004) --- Astronaut Michael E. Fossum, STS-121 mission specialist, uses the crew escape slide in the crew compartment trainer (CCT) during emergency egress training. The CCT is one of several shuttle-training components located in the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility at the Johnson Space Center (JSC). Fossum is wearing a training version of the shuttle launch and entry suit.
