JSC2004-E-37674 (18 August 2004) --- Astronauts Mark E. Kelly (foreground) and Steven W. Lindsey, STS-121 pilot and commander, respectively, use the crew escape slide in the crew compartment trainer (CCT) during emergency egress training. The CCT is one of several shuttle-training components located in the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility at the Johnson Space Center (JSC). Lindsey and Kelly are wearing training versions of the shuttle launch and entry suit. United Space Alliance (USA) crew trainer David Pogue (partially obscured) assisted the crewmembers.
