JSC2004-E-37700 (18 August 2004) --- Astronaut Mark E. Kelly, STS-121 pilot, uses a climbing apparatus to lower himself from a simulated trouble-plagued shuttle in an emergency egress training session in the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility at the Johnson Space Center (JSC). Kelly is wearing a training version of the shuttle launch and entry suit.
