JSC2005-E-03845 (28 January 2005) --- Astronaut Steven W. Lindsey (left), STS-121 commander, discusses training activities with Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Takao Doi prior to an emergency egress training session in the crew compartment trainer (CCT-1). The CCT is one of several shuttle-training components located in the Space Vehicle Mockup Facility at the Johnson Space Center (JSC). Lindsey is wearing a training version of the full-pressure launch and entry suit.
