STS-121 Shuttle Mission Imagery

JSC2006-E-25779 (1 July 2006) --- As seen from near the rear of the Shuttle (White) Flight Control Room of Houston's Mission Control Center (MCC), flight directors Norm Knight (left) and Steve Stich monitor conditions a few hundred miles away in Florida, site of Discovery's scheduled STS-121 launch. Stich is ascent flight director and Knight serves that position for the Orbit 2 team. The launch of the shuttle was later postponed for 24 hours because of weather.
