STS-121 Shuttle Mission Imagery

JSC2006-E-25780 (1 July 2006) --- Inside the Shuttle (White) Flight Control Room of Houston's Mission Control Center (MCC), flight directors Steve Stich (left) and Norm Knight monitor conditions a few hundred miles away in Florida, site of Discovery's scheduled STS-121 launch. Stich is ascent flight director and Knight serves that position for the Orbit 2 team. Astronaut Dominic A. (Tony) Antonelli, spacecraft communicator has temporarily stepped away from the CAPCOM console to huddle near the flight directors. The launch of Discovery was later postponed for 24 hours because of weather.
