JSC2006-E-26030 (4 July 2006) --- From the point of view of the Booster Console, this image provides an overall perspective of the Shuttle (White) Flight Control Room of Houston's Mission Control Center (MCC), prior to the Independence Day launch of Discovery. The third STS-121 launch attempt proved successful at 2:38 p.m. (EDT) on July 4.
