JSC2008-E-142578 (14 Nov. 2008) --- Astronauts George Zamka (left) and Alan Poindexter, STS-126 spacecraft communicators (CAPCOM), monitor data at their consoles in the space shuttle flight control room in the Mission Control Center at NASA's Johnson Space Center during launch countdown activities a few hundred miles away in Florida, site of Space Shuttle Endeavour's scheduled STS-126 launch. Liftoff was on time at 7:55 p.m. (EST) on Nov. 14, 2008 from launch pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
