STS-82 EVA VIEW --- This wide shot of the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) in the Space Shuttle Discovery’s cargo bay, backdropped against Australia, was taken during the fifth Extravehicular Activity (EVA) added to complete servicing of the orbiting observatory. Astronauts Steven L. Smith (center frame) and Mark C. Lee (on Remote Manipulator System (RMS) arm) are conducting a survey of the hand rails on HST.
