S97-06641 (20 May 1997) --- During an exercise in a Neurolab trainer, James A. Pawelczyk, payload specialist, prepares to catch a ball as part of the ball catching (Kinelite) experiment. On Earth, the ball would fall based on the acceleration of gravity, but in space the ball will be propelled toward the crew member at a constant velocity.
