S99-00589 (01-08-99) --- Astronaut Kent V. Rominger, mission commander, simulates a parachute drop into water during emergency bailout training with his STS-96 crew mates. The exercise took place in the Johnson Space Center's Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL).
