STS096-715-028 (3 June 1999) --- A STS-96 crew member aboard Discovery recorded this distant image of the International Space Station (ISS) with a 70mm camera following separation of the two spacecraft. Russia's Lake Baykal, not far from the Mongolian border, can be seen in the background of the horizon view of Earth.
