JSC2000-E-02640 (12 February 2000) --- This image from the X-SAR data represents Las Cruces and surrounding area. Like JSC2000-E-02639, it is the same area (minus speckles) as shown in Image 2 on the primary image strip (JSC2000-E-02638). Advanced methods for information extraction were applied to JSC2000-E-02639 (called Image 2 on the strip) to get this result. All X-SAR imagery and related charts and maps are provided by DLR, Germany's national aerospace resource center as well as the national space agency.
