S98-04116 (May 28, 1998) --- Astronaut Bill Shepherd, right, commander of the first crew that will live aboard the International Space Station, exits a mock Soyuz spacecraft while Cosmonaut Sergei Krikalev, left, flight engineer for the first crew, looks on. The crew, which also includes Cosmonaut Yuri Gidzenko as Soyuz Commander, is participating in Soyuz winter survival training in March 1998 near Star City, Russia.
