S98-04128 (May 28, 1998) --- Astronaut Bill Shepherd, left, commander of the first crew that will live aboard the International Space Station, and Cosmonaut Sergei Krikalev, flight engineer for the first station crew, participate in Soyuz winter survival training in March 1998 near Star City, Russia. Also on the first crew is Soyuz Commander Yuri Gidzenko, a cosmonaut.
