JSC2004-E-44643 (8 October 2004) --- From left, astronaut Leroy Chiao, Expedition 10 commander and NASA ISS science officer; cosmonaut Salizhan S. Sharipov, Expedition 10 flight engineer representing Russia's Federal Space Agency; and Russian Space Forces test cosmonaut Yuri Shargin study flight data material on ascent procedures as they prepare for their upcoming launch to ISS aboard a Soyuz spacecraft. Chiao and Sharipov are scheduled for a six month stay aboard the orbiting complex while Shargin will spend eight days aboard the Station and return to Earth with the Expedition 9 crew members.
