JSC2004-E-27321 (30 June 2004) --- Astronaut John L. Phillips, Expedition 11 NASA ISS science officer, and cosmonaut Sergei K. Krikalev (partially obscured), commander representing Russia’s Federal Space Agency, are about to be submerged in the waters of the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) near Johnson Space Center (JSC). Phillips and Krikalev are attired in training versions of the Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) space suit.
