JSC2004-E-35710 (12 August 2004) --- Cosmonaut Sergei K. Krikalev (foreground), Expedition 11 commander representing Russia's Federal Space Agency, and astronaut John L. Phillips (center background), NASA ISS science officer, participate in a training session in the virtual reality lab at the Johnson Space Center (JSC). This type of computer interface paired with virtual reality training hardware and software helps to prepare the entire team for dealing with shuttle and station elements. United Space Alliance (USA) EVA training team member Oscar Koehler (left) and David J. Homan (partially obscured) assisted Krikalev and Phillips.
