JSC2005-E-15218 (10 April 2005) --- Astronaut John L. Phillips, NASA Expedition 11 International Space Station (ISS) science officer and flight engineer, enters the Soyuz TMA-6 spacecraft at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on April 10, 2005. Cosmonaut Sergei K. Krikalev (out of frame), Russia’s Federal Space Agency commander; Phillips and astronaut Roberto Vittori (out of frame) of Italy will launch April 15 (Kazakhstan time) on the Soyuz TMA-6 spacecraft to the ISS. Krikalev and Phillips will spend six months in space and greet the first Shuttle crew to fly in more than two years.
