Tani, backup crewmember, stay limber during an exercise session April 11, 2005, in Baikonur, Kazakhstan as Phillips prepares for launch April 15 (Kazakhstan time) to the ISS with cosmonaut Sergei K. Krikalev (not pictured), Russia’s Federal Space Agency commander, and European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Roberto Vittori (not pictured) of Italy. Krikalev and Phillips will spend six months in space and greet the first Shuttle crew to fly in more than two years.
