ISS012-E-18565 (22 Feb. 2006) --- Astronaut William S. (Bill) McArthur, Jr., Expedition 12 commander and NASA space station science officer, reads a checklist as he prepares to exercise on the Cycle Ergometer with Vibration Isolation System (CEVIS) as a part of the third Foot/Ground Reaction Forces During Spaceflight (FOOT) experiment session in the Destiny laboratory of the International Space Station. McArthur wore the specially instrumented Lower Extremity Monitoring Suit (LEMS), cycling tights outfitted with sensors, during the experiment.
