JSC2005-E-39611 (29 Sept. 2005) --- A train carrying the Soyuz TMA-7 vehicle rolled to its launch pad at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Sept. 29, 2005 in preparation for its launch Oct. 1 (Kazakhstan time). The liftoff will send astronaut William S. (Bill) McArthur, Jr., Expedition 12 commander and NASA space station science officer; cosmonaut Valery I. Tokarev, flight engineer and Soyuz commander representing Russia's Federal Space Agency; and spaceflight participant Greg Olsen to the International Space Station.
