Williams (center left), NASA space station science officer and flight engineer; and spaceflight participant Anousheh Ansari (top left) exit a plane where they are greeted by Russian officials and media upon their return to Chkalovsky Airbase outside Star City near Moscow, Russia following their landing earlier in the day in the Soyuz TMA-8 spacecraft in central Kazakhstan following their departure from the International Space Station. Vinogradov and Williams spent 183 days on the station, while Ansari spent 11 days in space and 9 days on the station under a commercial agreement with the Russian Federal Space Agency.
