JSC2006-E-40787 (20 Sept. 2006) --- At the Russian Mission Control Center outside Moscow, NASA Associate Administrator Rex Geveden (right) watches the final moments of the approach of the Soyuz TMA-9 spacecraft for its docking to the International Space Station Sept. 20, 2006 with Alex Krasnov, the head of Piloted Programs for the Russian Federal Space Agency. The Soyuz delivered a new Expedition crew to the station led by astronaut Michael E. Lopez-Alegria, Expedition 14 commander and NASA ISS science officer; and cosmonaut Mikhail Tyurin, flight engineer.
