JSC2007-E-16787 (29 March 2007) --- Spaceflight participant Charles Simonyi joins four cosmonauts (obscured on left side of frame) for the ceremonial raising of flags at the Cosmonaut Hotel at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Along with Simonyi, cosmonauts Fyodor Yurchikhin, Expedition 15 commander, and Oleg Kotov, flight engineer, await an April 7 launch aboard a Soyuz rocket. Participating in the flag raising with them (but not in the frame) were cosmonauts Roman Y. Romanenko, commander, and Mikhail B. Kornienko, flight engineer, of the backup crew.
