Whitson, Expedition 16 commander, participates in a session of extravehicular activity (EVA) as construction continues on the International Space Station (ISS). During the spacewalk Whitson and cosmonaut Yuri I. Malenchenko (out of frame), flight engineer representing Russia's Federal Space Agency, prepared for the relocation of the Pressurized Mating Adapter 2 (PMA-2) and the subsequent move of the new Harmony node to its permanent ISS home.
