JSC2009-E-214433 (26 Sept. 2009) --- At the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan Sept. 26, 2009, NASA astronaut Jeff Williams, Expedition 21 flight engineer (left); and Russian cosmonaut Max Suraev, Soyuz commander (r), take a break from their preparations for launch Sept. 30 in the Soyuz TMA-16 spacecraft to the International Space Station to inspect the new Mini-Research Module 2 (MRM2) at the Integration and Checkout Facility. The MRM2 is scheduled for its own launch Nov. 10 on a Soyuz rocket en route to an automated docking to the station Nov. 12 to serve as a new docking port and spacewalk airlock on the Russian segment of the complex.
