ISS003-E-6261 (5 October 2001) --- Cosmonaut Mikhail Tyurin, Expedition Three flight engineer, wears the Russian Orlan space suit as he prepares for an upcoming spacewalk from the Pirs Docking Compartment on the International Space Station (ISS). The first spacewalk is scheduled for October 8, 2001 which will be the first extravehicular activity (EVA) from the station without a Space Shuttle present. Tyurin represents Rosaviakosmos.
