STS108-E-5129 (7 December 2001) --- Cosmonaut Yuri Onufrienko of Rosaviakosmos, Expedition Four commander, patiently awaits the opening of a hatch that will reunite the new ISS crew and the four STS-108 astronauts with the Expedition Three team. Onufrienko and his two Expedition Four crew mates (out of frame) were in one of the Pressurized Mating Adapters (PMA) on the orbital outpost. The image was recorded with a digital still camera. |
