JSC2003-E-59138 (15 October 2003) --- European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Pedro Duque of Spain listens to a briefing on mission activities from a Russian trainer at his crew quarters in Baikonur, Kazakhstan as he prepares for his launch to the International Space Station (ISS) in a Soyuz TMA-3 vehicle. Astronaut C. Michael Foale, Expedition 8 mission commander and NASA ISS science officer, and cosmonaut Alexander Y. Kaleri, Soyuz commander and flight engineer, will join Duque.
