JSC2003-E-59330 (20 October 2003) --- Flight Director Jeff Hanley (right) and Ginger Kerrick, one of the Sim Test Leads doubling as spacecraft communicator (CAPCOM), obtain new data at their consoles in the station flight control room (BFCR) in Johnson Space Center’s (JSC) Mission Control Center (MCC). This photo was taken during rendezvous and docking operations between the Soyuz TMA-3 spacecraft and the International Space Station (ISS). The Soyuz, which carried astronaut C. Michael Foale, Expedition 8 mission commander and NASA ISS science officer; cosmonaut Alexander Y. Kaleri, Soyuz commander and flight engineer representing Rosaviakosmos; and European Space Agency (ESA) astronaut Pedro Duque of Spain, docked with the station at 2:16 a.m. (CDT) on October 20, 2003.
